Rule 
Detention at time of pickup and/or delivery

 DENP, DUNC, DUNP
  1. When Carrier’s vehicle is delayed by Consignor/Consignee for loading or unloading on or near the premises of Consignor/Consignee, detention charges will begin upon expiration of the applicable free time allowed and will end when the Carrier’s vehicle is loaded or unloaded and is available for movement.
  2. Free time will begin when Carrier notifies Consignor/Consignee that the Carrier’s vehicle is available for loading or unloading.
  3. The following detention charges will apply:
    1. Straight truck charges will be calculated at $54.00 per hour or fraction thereof.
    2. For vehicle other than straight truck, the charges will be calculated at $65.00 per hour or fraction thereof.
    3. Free time will be determined as follows:
      1. When weight per stop is 1 to 10,000 lbs, half (½ ) hour of free time will be allowed.
      2. When weight per stop exceeds 10,000 lbs, one (1) hour of free time will be allowed.
  4. Any charges accruing under this item shall be borne by the Payor of the freight charges.
